Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)

RFID technology is leading the way as a key competency required to establish and maintain business relations in the manufacturing and logistics industries. It is used in a variety of ways from tracking packages in a warehouse to transmitting secure information at ports of entry via E-Passports.

The McAllen Foreign Trade Zone has implemented an RFID pilot program. Our team is determining the optimum combination of antenna location and relative tag positions to generate the highest read rates when loading materials. Onsite testing is absolutely crucial in developing a reliable and effective RFID solution. Upon completion, we will incorporate RFID into our existing Enterprise Management System as well as other RFID services offered to our clientele.
