With the ever changing world of technology, keeping pace is vital to any organization. Currently, RFID technology is leading the way as a key competency required to establish and maintain business relations in the manufacturing and logistics industries. Advancements in the RFID field are leading to new applications of the technology everyday. From tracking packages in a warehouse, to transmitting secure information at ports of entry via E-Passports, RFID is everywhere.

In an effort to stay on the leading edge, FTZ Logistics has already implemented an RFID pilot program. During the pilot program the team will determine the optimum combination of antenna location and relative tag positions to generate the highest read rates when loading materials. Onsite testing is absolutely crucial in developing a reliable and effective RFID solution. Upon completion of the pilot program FTZ Logistics will be prepared to incorporate RFID into their existing Enterprise Management System as well as offer RFID services to their clientele.
